Structured workshops and engagements for strategy teams and leadership who need better questions — not more forecasts.
Most futures exercises produce clever gadgets or scenarios. Design Fiction produces futures that have to make sense for actual people.
This suits you if…
You're going into a strategy or creative process and you want participants to be genuinely comfortable with uncertainty. With Design Fiction you become comfortable with uncomfortable futures.
Some of your people are protecting what works now. Others are pushing for what they want to change. They're both right, and they're talking past each other.
This suits you if…
Your organisation is going through real change — new leadership, a merger, a sector shift — and people have stopped agreeing on what matters.
One issue. Two groups. By approaching the issue from opposed points of view we create a conflicting description of the scenario with multiple levels of consequences and knock-on effects. What you find in the overlap is what you couldn't have found any other way.
This suits you if…
You want your team to have a constructive argument in order to thrash out both opportunities and threats, before you commit to a position.
Your sector is shifting and you can feel it. This session names what's moving and maps what it means for decisions you're making now.
This suits you if…
You keep reacting to things that should have been obvious. You want to build a better habit of noticing your surroundings.
