In order to test our Design Fiction Kit localisation (renamed to “Design Fiktion Kit”) we gave a workshop to do a test run of the deck. With nearly 30 signups we limited participants to better gauge the reception, and got valuable feedback for how to improve both the workshop format as well as the translated deck. RISE generously provided workshop space.

The Work kit of Design Fiction is a method for running quick ideation sessions by using a deck of cards to both inform and constrain the process. With the blessing of the creator Julian Bleecker we set about translating the cards into Swedish, as well as adapting the deck to a Swedish context. This resulted in an initial translation and printing of the deck, with the goal of having finished product in 2025.
